ROV Inspection

A Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is an underwater platform controlled from the surface that is highly maneuverable and able to provide video and still camera imagery and information from various other sensors in order to observe, inspect and take measurements of subsea assets or installation operations.

Horizon operates a fleet of electric powered ROV systems for a wide range of applications. Our current range includes the following observation and inspection class ROV’s that can be mobilised onto our own vessel as well as a client’s vessel, barge or rig.

  • Drill rig support
  • Pipeline inspection surveys (as-laid, as-built and annual surveys)
  • Salvage assistance
  • Diver observation

  • Seaeye Surveyor Plus
  • Sub Atlantic Mohawk
  • Horizon provides ROVs for the following tasks;
  • Construction support (including touchdown monitoring)
  • Environmental Monitoring
  • Platform inspections
  • Hazard / debris clearance surveys
  • Windfarm installations

AQUAROX

AQUAROX is a compact and affordable ROV available in the market. It is powered  by 6 thruster and easily maneuverable. AQUAROX is the stable, extremely smooth and capable of underwater surveys and inspections. It is designed with lesser drag for optimum operation. AQUAROX uses the open-source software and the autopilot system. The included Advanced Electronics Package provides a high-speed Ethernet connection with tether interface unit and the two companion computers for additional processing power. It provides live 1080p HD video directly to a computer or tablet and flexibility for future expansion.

Features:

  • Live HD video Streaming and Recording with pan and tilt camera.
  • Portable and Light weight (Max.9 kg)
  • Easy to use, cross-platform user interface.
  • Operable at 100 m depth rating and up to 150 m tether available.
  • 6 x T200 Thrusters
  • Quick-swappable batteries for all-day use.
  • Altimeter
  • 4 x 1500 Lumens LED lights

HYDRONOX

HYDRONOX is an autonomous surface vehicle for hydrographic survey applications. Depends on the user requirement, multiple pay load can be added. Autonomous and manual mode can be switched using GUI. The GUI application runs on a base station laptop, connected through a telemetry link, and displays the vehicle’s graphical positioning and progress against a background map of the survey area. Battery voltage remaining is monitored
via this link. Switching from autonomous to remote control of the survey boat is easy using a high-power remote-control system that offers up to 2.5km range, with a survey endurance of 3 hours.

Features:

  • Live 1080p HD video Streaming and Recording.
  • Highly maneuverable Differential thruster configuration.
  • Collision Avoidance System.
  • Underwater Structural Inspection.
  • Highly flexible topside clean connection from the Vikra Boat-ASV to a computer.
  • Water Sample Collector
  • Coastal Surveillance

LANDROX

LANDROX is an Unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) can be used outdoors but also indoors for lab work. It can carry 2.5 kg of payload at 1.5 km per hour. LANDROX built with rugged construction and high-torque drivetrain can take your research where no other robot can go. External camera, thermal imaging sensors and robotic arm also be added in the user bay. UGV can be controlled up to 2.5 km range and operational to maximum 3 hrs. Autonomous mode operation is supported by the Ground control station and incorporated with the collision avoidance system. It is portable & modular and can be carried easily in the backpack

Features:

  • Live 1080p HD video Streaming and Recording.
  • Collision Avoidance System.
  • Thermal Imaging.
  • Robotic Arm.
  • Surveillance Camera
